- Gaza’s border authority said the Rafah border would reopen on Sunday for foreign passport holders
- Hamas claims to have destroyed >160 Israeli military targets in the last 48 hours
- Israel says Hamas has lost control of northern Gaza
- Israel helping evacuate babies in Al Shifa hospital
- Hamas continues to deny using hospitals for military purposes
- Surgeon in Al Shifa said continuous bombardment for 24 hours now; this counters what they previously said, that they’d stop bombing for 4 hours per day to allow civilians to leave
- points to remember:
- Islamic Jihad is an ally of Hamas. Their military wing is called Al-Quds Brigades. Apparently they’ve been helping out in the vacinity of the Al Shifa medical complex
- The Al-Nasr neighbourhood is apparently semi-important, with a bunch of medical complexes
- Al-Shanti is also a place that exists
- Palestine says 11,780 have died since Oct. 7th
- Remember, the median population is like 18 I think, and a lot of late teens are acting as soldiers. It’s not that surprising that so many casualties are going to be children
